Aptos, California, January 23, 2024 — Adele Talmadge, co-founder of Talmadge Construction, is one of the recipients of the Top Ambassador Award from the Santa Cruz Chamber of Commerce for 2023.
“I’m honored to be one of the business leaders selected,” shares Adele, who founded Talmadge Construction with her husband Jeff in 1984. “At Talmadge, we’re huge advocates of improving our community in every way – from helping homeowners breathe new life in their homes, to helping children in need through local organizations, and bolstering local businesses.”

The new Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2024 was introduced, Keynote speaker Dan Schnur gave an interesting talk and Top Ambassador Awards were presented at the Chamber’s annual breakfast meeting held at the Dream Inn this month. Ambassadors volunteer to guide new members through their first year with the Chamber, connect with event participants, and promote participating businesses throughout Santa Cruz. At the end of the year, Ambassadors are recognized based on their volunteer work with members and the community.
