Transitional Bathroom Remodel in Scotts Valley, CA
A few key areas were severely outdated in this Scotts Valley home. The homeowners came to Talmadge Construction wanting a complete overhaul of three bathrooms including a large primary bath that had underutilized space, the laundry room, and the staircase. They also needed new office doors.
Our design solution was based around the client’s need for symphony and harmony throughout their home and included a clean and modern design aesthetic. This included floating vanities with motion sensor under cabinet lighting. The primary bathroom was reconfigured to include a new water closet, his and her vanities, a new jetted soaking tub and a large curbless shower with glass panels.
Each bathroom was designed with custom cabinetry topped with new quartz countertops, porcelain tile flooring, and top of the line plumbing and electrical fixtures. The new stairs were laid with LVP flooring and the home office received new custom replacement doors.
The result was the feeling a new house brought up to today’s design and construction standards. The renovated bathrooms, laundry room and flooring tie into the recently renovated kitchen. The client is very happy with the end product and we are exploring designing a new wine bar in the kitchen.
